re-surfacing non-wood deck

I have an outdoor deck on the 4th floor of my townhouse. It is made of some sort of composite material (maybe vinyl????). It is about 11 years old, and it needs to be resurfaced (not replaced but more like sealed). My local hardware store said they have no suggestions. Anybody have any ideas?

I've never heard of composite being resurfaced or (re)sealed
Always just replaced
Any pics?
