Rats in neighbors house

I've seen rats chew through wood, drywall, plaster, concrete.
One time I saw them smart enough to lay insulation over the 12 X 12" sticky traps to get to the food.

No cats (theyre for mice), no guns (theyre for gangs), no poison (they kill other non intended). get a RAT TERRIER. yes, now you have to buy dog food, but hey, otherwise, you have to move. Also, dont blame Norway for Norway rats. They came from China, like the other pestilenic diseases/carriers.

Noquacks:
Nicely stated. But can one dog really kill an entire population of huge Norway rats w/o being injured or getting some illness from the rats? Vet bills will make an exterminator's fee look miniscule by comparison. When a rat is cornered he puts up a fierce fight. They must be feeding on something. Eliminate the food source if possible and you eliminate the rats.

The Jack Rat Terrier. A cross between a Rat Terrier and a Jack Russell. An energetic and eager hunter. Full of personality

Been a few years since Bio classes and animal pathology, but I am confident if one is all up to date with dog immunizations (distemper, rabies, botulinum, etc) rats shouldnt communicate diseases. Yes, he could get bit, but he doesnt care! hes gonna get the rat! Do soccer players care knowing they have a good chance of getting their knee smashed, and living with permanent damage many times, during their short lived sports career?

Rats in neighbors house

I had the same problem before, so I decided to get a cat. Since then rats never went to our yard, or messed with our garbage and recycling bin.
