Rain screen

Thinking about constructing a rain screen behind f/c lap siding but just on the side of the building that gets heavy wind driven rain. I would appreciate your thoughts.
What are the options for insect gaurds at the bottom edge of a rain screen.

thanks

Rain screen

Cor-a-vent will solve all you problems as it also includes a bug screen, Put on bottom of wall under siding and at top of wall to have good circulation

The cor-a-vent does'nt go into your roof.Pls go to web site for core-a -vent and the drawing will show how to install. I will be putting My hardie plank siding on the house as shown on the drawing from cor-a-vent

Rain screen

I am planning to use Georgian Lattice under Hardie Plank Siding and wonder if lattice is a good way to go. It is pressure treated and would be installed on 1" Styrofoam.
