PVC Window Glazing

I am fixing up a house I am moving into. The window frames are aluminum and the glazing is some kind of PVC or Vinyl. They are old and cracking. I have searched for replacement of of these and all I seem to find is instructions for using glazing compound or putty. Is this the correct option? Are they manufactured with these plastic seals that are not replaceable?

PVC Window Glazing

Call a local glazier. The good ones WILL help a DIY'er out, even if they don't make any $.
