Pressure Treated Decking

I just installed a 300 square foot deck to connect my garage and house together. I used pressure treated 2x6 green board. The boards were in a bundle that I opened yesturday at the lumber yard so still contain a TON of moisture. Do I need to wait for the boards to lose some of thier water content before staining? Any suggestions on which stain to use? I know i need a special treated lumber stain but am unfamiliar with them and was looking for some customer opinions on the different types.

Yes
It's best to let the PT wood "season"
How much is enough will depend on the wood, wetness, environment, etc...

Usually a season (three months) is safe
Sometimes one month will do it

Not really...no...not "special" per say
Pretty much any quality deck product should work

I can recommend Cabots products for decks
Sikkens also
