Is it possible to make double-pane glass?
 

Seems like it would be - internet search just yields a hundred million window replacement videos. Anyone know what it takes to actually make the panels? I know they are vacuum sealed and then filled with argon, but is it possible to do this without a special machine?

Practically speaking--NO

I had to call in a window /glass outfit to replace a bunch of popped windows---The work man said they farm the actual glass work out to a company that only assembles the glass---

Actually you can make them yourself. There is no vacuum involved. Once they are assembled you expel the air with bottled argon gas. Any dry inert gas will work actually.
