Porch Repair

My front porch is concrete and there is about a 1/4 - 1/2 inch gap in between the porch and the house. I saw a bunch of ants crawling into it, so needless to say I want to seal the gap. What is the best way to do that?

Push some foam backer rod about 1/2" down into the gap and fill with polyurethane caulking used for expansion joints. Both of these can be found on the aisle with the concrete/masonry products at HD.
