Plastering Question

I want to tear off the plastic tile that covers my kitchen walls and ceiling.

My question is. Can I plaster over the adhesive that remains when the tiles are removed? Or do I need to remove the adhesive? If so what is the best/easiest way to remove it?

Plastering Question

Done this before plenty of times. Scrape the hard as rock glue off and skim over all. Pain in the butt, it has to be done. I use a hand held scaper with a blade on it. They have them in the wall paper section of stores. Might take a few hours to get it ready for skiming.
