Question

peachtree stainable doors

We have had a peachtree stainable door for about 15 years. Unfortunately we have never bothered to stain it as was our original intention. We have now decided we would like to try and stain it, can this still be done or would it be better to leave it the way it is?? If we do stain it, what would you suggest to use for stain and how best to accomplish this. Thank you for any help given!

If by inside or outside you mean the door, it is a front entry door but there is a storm door in front of it, So I guess you would say indoor as it will not get the weather. We just don't want to ruin the door and have to replace it as the door is still in good shape, just want to update it and give it a new look so it looks new. Weren't sure if after all this time it could still be stained.
Thanks
