Patching stipple ceiling...What I found that works!
I've tried many products, Homex and other and nothing looked even close to patching some stipple celing repairs.
I tried Poly Stipple and used a sponge to dab it on...and it works really good.
I just wanted to share as I have wasted a lot of time and monney on other things that don't work.
One tip is that after your sponge becomes really saturated, make sure to wash it out and then continue, as it gets "smeary" if you don't.
Patching textured ceilings is one of the toughest jobs out there. Thanks for the tip. I often find myself experimenting with various sponges, stomping brushes, etc. to try and match the texture. That takes lots of time sometimes.
I's only use it for very small patches, big areas it looks bad!
