Question

ordered windows, exposed rough cut studs....whats easiest fix ???


ok so here's the deal. i have access to FREE #2btr planed lumber. i ordered my windows for the 2x4 framing, pulled down the 3 layers of walls to find rough cut fir. is there a way i can have the best of both worlds as i wasnt planning on changing much of the existing structure ( top plate etc) help please

you could pull the wooden jambs off and just make your own for the windows.

I am having a tough time figuring out what you are wanting as well.

Extension jambs can be fabricated and you can always fur out the wall too.

Post up a picture if you can.
