old cabinets are talking to me

i took out the old upper cabinets, they are still usable, like in a shed or something. they are out by the firepit. i keep wanting to burn them off.
but when i go to chuck them in the fire.
they keep telling me = "NO, PLEASE, DON'T BURN ME !"
really, this is no joke.

i think i'm loose'n it.

Offer them up free on one of your local Facebook garage sale sites. Someone will take them.

Freecycle or Craigslist them. It'll feel good to send them on to someone who can use them!

someone would have to be pretty desperate to want these. at least for a kitchen.
anyway. i did burn one of them. i gave it as an offering to the cabinet gods. and it went up in a big ball of fire and smoke.

we will see about the other.

Put them out by the curb with a sign FREE bet they don't last an hour.

Reuse or give to somebody who can polish and remake it for proper use.

I'd have given you $10 for the lot if you were in my area so I could use them in my garage.

We installed all our old upper cabs down one side of our garage wall.
It works well.

these uppers were hardly worth it. but, the lowers are good. they are HD honey oak. these will be used in the basement.

You can take apart the wood, run it through a plane
and you have some good oak wood for other projects.
We saved all our old kitchen doors and used them for
many things, like drawer fronts for interior cabinets, shelving, etc...

The ones that we used in the garage were the original
birch cabinets from our first kitchen. The ones we saved and
recycled for other projects was from our first new kitchen.
To be clear, this is my third kitchen in this house.
Recycled wood is great!

From my understanding if you put a sign with $100 on it'll be gone by morning. Free, and they'll be there forever! :-)
