Last child grew up and left home a few years back, after I got over the moping, I thought oh well, time to get busy and get my house fixed up the way I want it. After raising 3 sons, the place looked like a bomb went off in it. Tons of drywall to patch and paint, new kitchen, new bathroom, new roof, new siding, new windows, whew, I worked and worked, long hours, up late, finally got it finished and I thought Oh boy! I can relax in my later years now. Guess I was so busy I didn't realize the kids were taking note of how good the old place was looking, Got to love it, the oldest one says, it's looking pretty good around here, you don't mind if I move back, do you?

No good deeds, go "unpunished"!
Good for you, though!

Happy Holidays!

"Hard of hearing"?!?
Don't wish that on yourself!
However, it's happened to me -
It can be "useful", though!!
What? - what?!! .......
He, he, he!

It only took until the day after our last one left to convert that last bedroom into a library. No trace of any kids left behind.
