Newbie Question

New to the forum, need to install just a (wooden) fence gate between my house & the next. In oder to do so, I will need to break through some concrete to install the posts. What's the easiest way for me to do so?

hammer and chisel it into a hole to take the post shouldn't be that thick.

Sledgehammers work great for "breaking" concrete. Hammer drills work well for drilling holes through concrete. I have used grinders and circular saws (with appropriate blade) for cutting concrete. I have used masonry chisels.

Some hammer drills can be set to hammer only. With those, one can install chisel bits and use it as a mini jackhammer.
