New Years Restitution

No not a typo.

It has frustrated many this time of year--every year: The lack of commitment. The foremost reason for this phenomina is we think outside our ability. We don't know how to resist when we haven't learned to say no to the things that are detrimental to our health initially.

This year, thanks in part to this "DIY" site, I am going to be "others" oriented. For whatever reason (there are many), the more I try to please and/or better myself, the more selfish I become--I rationalize for my failures and shortcomings.

That said, I hope others will join me in the service and betterment of others. I have had many opportunity to help here and be helped.

So thanks to all of you that have helped me get a better grasp on how and what its like to assist others in the things necessary to make your surroundings more livable. May this be the best year of your life!
