New Member Bathroom New

Hello Everyone!! excited to have found this website! i have some questions about adding a bathroom in my house.
my house was built in 99' and in the basement there is a spot "roughed" out for a bathroom. looks like the plumbing has been set and there is a spot for a shower (with a drain) and spot for the Toilet. there are water lines tapped out for a sink.
my question is what are some of my biggest obstacles i will run into on this project?
i plan on using basic material
simple toilet
tub kit

Welcome Kinsmania, to the best darn DIY'r site on the wed.

The hardest part of any project is the small details of finishing it. Post a couple of pics of the rough in, that will prompt more responses.

First draw out a plan and ensure that the materials will fit in the area that you are finishing. Then make sure you get you significant other (if that is pertinent) involved in the selection of the hardware and colors.

Put a plan together as to how you will proceed with the project, such as what you will do first, second.....and so forth.

Lastly have fun......DIY can and is a good feeling of satisfaction when the project is completed.

When its all said and done there is usually more said than done
