New Look at DIYChatroom.com

We have a new look at DIYChatroom.com
It's mostly just a color change but I hope people like it. I realized that both ContractorTalk.com and DIYChatroom.com were both using blues and greens for their primary colors and I wanted to make them stand apart from each other a little more.

Anyways, feel free to tell me what you do and don't like in this thread. I'm still working on a few tweaks but please let me know if you notice anything not working right.

Thanks

Looks good. I've got no load issues, and I'm on a wireless connection w/ 28% connectivity.

Where did the quick links at the top of the page go? I used them probably 95% of the time to check into those groups. Could they be added back in?

Try clearing the cache on your browser to get rid of the old files. You can do this by pressing CTRL-F5 at the same time when on our homepage.

Let me know if your still having trouble.

You mean the different topics like carpentry, painting, plumbing and so on?

Glad that did it. You would be amazed at how many things that little trick fixes. People can't log in and so on.

Anyways... enjoy!

Yes, that's correct. I tried the CTRL-F5 and I don't think it was a cache issue.

No, that's not something that can be fixed with a clear cache command. The new design just doesn't have those links. I removed them because there wasn't enough room for all the topics and I thought it was strange just to have some.

Maybe I could add them to the bottom of the page... would that help?

Not sure. Many times I use the quick links to see if there's any activity in those forums, and find it really easy to jump from one to the other with out returning home. Oh well...nothing saying I can't learn to use the site in other ways...
