for starters. i would do 2 paver patios. a largish one in the back, and a smaller one at the front door.

what are you doing with this house ?

An awning or something like that over the front door to give it some depth would be very helpful. Shutters next to the Windows would certainly brighten it up and give some contrast.

This is my own home it took me 2 years to remodel so now I'm kinda at the settle in stage and make look good...or better

i agree, a good sized awning would give the house a little more depth. or even a full on porch.

now my wife is pretty set on the deck from the right side of the back door and around the backside of the house, are you talking awening over the back door or back of house?

garrettstump 03-18-2014 08:07 PM

my dilema is the grade is higher at the back of the house than it is on the side by the back door

garrettstump 03-18-2014 08:09 PM

the house is really long and tall but has ZERO character but that were all your guys ideas come into play...lol

your house is too low to the ground for a long lasting wood deck. or perhaps you could use composite, idk about that.
