Need help with stamped colored concrete

We our patio and side walls put in about 4 years ago and we need to repair a few places where water has sat and stained it and other areas where it has just came off in small areas. I have an electric presser washer and was going to clean it and reseal because that makes it look better but after joining DIY thought I'd see how difficult a job this would be. Any concrete guys out there? Thanks.

its not that difficult far's labor BUT the knowledge to repair is,,, get the BEST sealer you can find & 877 tints from sher-wms,,, determine WHY the damage's happen'd - either looks like scaling or moisture.

no apron store has decent sealer - just h/o & diy grade stuff,,, sher-wms doesn't, either,,, find a pro const supply house - SOLVENT bas'd sealer's much better'n wtr-bas'd,,, test to be sure you've got solvent 'cause solvent over wtr's a no-no.

Are those actually stains or loss of color? Perhaps some of both? If it is loss of color it might be attributed to chlorine from the hot tub being tracked onto the concrete.

Its not colored concrete. I wish now I would have used colored concret and stain and not just stain. I don't think the flaking would be as obvious. The big stains are mostly due to the sprinkler system over spray and sitting in the concrete. We have pretty cold winters here and I think it's just normal wear and tear. I remember the contractor told me it would cost about 400 to restain and that we could even change colors if we wanted to. I don't want to change colors I'm just trying to save a little money these days like everyone else. Can I repair or just do the whole thing? I will probably need to rent a high power gas pressure washer then to remove all the sealer and stain thats there now. Is that correct
I remember when it was originaly done they used some type of powder.

flaking conc's an indication of overworking during finishing, too much wtr add'd while finishing, OR no air in the conc when originally plac'd,,, 4,000psi-4gpm-turbo nozzle combo should knock all the loose stuff off BUT that doesn't mean solid paste won't eventually fail & flake.

i don't like stain outside preferring a polymer-modified o'lay which's stronger & MUCH more durable following proper prep work.

That sounds good, would I find that at a paint store? Is application a roll on? Can I get veriations of color? I really don't want a solid color.
Thanks for your help.

we use only elitecrete products,,, imn-s-hfo, nothing avail at paint/apron stores're the quality we need,,, did hear porter was carrying something - the product's are, generically, hybridized-dry-polymer cementitious based,,, squeegee & trowel applied - sealers're roll'd on or spray'd.
