Need Help Looking For Dormer Info

HELLO ..
I am looking for anyone with shed dormer photos that has a set of french doors of the domer and the rules to how many windows and what the space between them should be. Also are dormers considered additional living space if they have an open loft side overlooking the living room. I have spent over $800.00 on books and post and things to just get some help . I spend 3 hrs a day paying my contractor to sit with me and just help me with this fear i have of my cute creek side home turning out like a pore excuse for a second storey .Money is not the issues.. I have a budget of 9k for this dormer and i have been told the front with french doors will be 13 by 21 and the back witll be 10 by 10 .. I just need the basic rules and things to consider when doing a project like this .. anyhelp would be great. You can email me on this site or direct.
Gkalka06@aol.com .. Thank you . .Shell
