Question

Mosaic Table Tops?

I have these coffee tables that originally had glass tops, but popped the glass off the top, screwed a board underneath the top and made it into a mosiac. The mosaic is still low enough that I can put the glass back over top, but I do not like how it looks. Is there any type of glaze or some type of glue or something clear that I can pour over top and harden to level it out with the top of the table?

Mosaic Table Tops?

There are clear pourable, self leveling sealers available. KraftKote is one company that makes the product. You can find it at the Klockit website. Sizes range from 2 ounces to 4 gallons.

Mosaic Table Tops?

If you're using the table outdoors, be careful of temperature extremes. I had one table crack in a few places from leaving it out in the cold fall weather.
