Mold test kit?

Hi all,

Has anyone used one of these home mold testing kits?

http://www.prolabinc.com/products.asp?kit=mold

Does it work well? If I find one spec of mold during the test, does that mean I have a serious mold problem?

Thanks!

Of course it will find mold. Mold spores are everywhere. Want some fun? Put a drop of Ranch salad dressing in it and send it back...... garanteed positive result. Walk through some bark mulch. Then stomp your feet next to the kit. That will really set it off. Those kits are a play up to everybody's uneducated fear of "Deadly Black Mold". Who is it that died from black mold anyway? If you have mold, you can see it and smell it. No need to waste your money on a kit to tell you.

What Maintenance said.

Waste of money.

You only have a "serious" mold problem if it's causing you some kind of problem.
