Is this mold in my wooden cupboard?
I moved into a ~30 year old townhouse recently and found this in one of the cupboards. What is this in the pictures? Mold? Wood rot? Something else? (Don't be distracted by the marks from where I tried to sand it down.)
I'm not even looking for DIY fixes--if it's something remotely serious, I will call in a professional. I'm just curious if I can cover it up and move on with my life without worrying! Thanks for any thoughts! Last edited by jerlawrnc; 11-26-2012 at 12:50 AM. Reason: edited to mention that I try to sand it down... |
