Missing program button on garage door opener

2 Attachment(s)
Hi,

Recently moved into to a new house and need to program the garage door opener but the program button is missing.

Any workaround?

Thanks!

Is it actually missing or is it just recessed so you have to use the tip of a pen or something like that to push it? Have you looked of the instruction manual for the opener for a clarification? I don't think it's a case here but some of the newer openers have the program button as part of the wall-mounted switch.

It is an older unit and the wall switch doesn't have a program button. According to the instructions manual it is supposed to have a switch that could be pressed without using a pin.

The program button is supposed to be in the top hole. It either broke off or was pulled out. As suggested a pen tip or pin will get you going.
