mechanical door bell ?


ok, i know they are not "bells", perhaps. but you get the idea.

the batteries just died in our wireless doorbell . i would rather not be replacing batteries all the time. so i am looking at mechanical "sounders".
knockers are nice, and i may get one of those. but, i was thinking some kind of pull cable gong would be cool. like something the ADAMS FAMILY would have.

thanx, fella's. i am probably just going to get a knocker. actually, there are 4 of them on CL right now. all for about $20.
so i will just wait around till one that i like comes up.
