Masonry anchors

Hi,

I'm about to attach a small, wooden (4'x8') front entry enclosure to a concrete block bldg.

Any recomendations on fastening?

Tap-Cons, or Expansion anchors.

THEE BEST, is Simpson SET2 epoxy. Tap cons and other expansion anchors are a pressure/friction reliant system by expanding inside the drilled hole. If you use epoxy in the hole, then insert the bolt or post anchor, it will take an atomic bomb to get it out or loosen. Epoxy is the ONLY anchor system approved by building depts. and engineers in California for retrofitting anchors. The concrete breaks before the bolt will come out.
