Made in USA ???????
I found a LIFETIME Lawn & Garden Cart at Sam's Club. It had the American flag logo with Made in U.S.A.
I had my two grandsons assemble it and found out that every item included in the box was MADE IN COMMUNIST CHINA!
All the packaging inside the outer box was labeled CHINA.
How can a company get away with this ?
ITS NOT RIGHT!

Made in USA ???????
I would expect that anything and everything bought at Sam's Club or Wal-Mart (or any other "discount" store) would be made out of this country. Perhaps the "Made in USA" label referred to the box itself and not the contents. Maybe check out http://www.madeinusa.org/ before making a purchase.

China cardboard is not the same quality as American--All packaging was Chinese. I should have noticed this before purchase.

Made in USA ???????
I've pretty much given up on finding made in the USA tools. What is worrisome to me is that other than the price Chinese made tools that do not bear a US tool brand (e.g. the new Chinese made Milwaukee Right Angle Drill) Chinese tools are now showing up that are not just copies of common US power tools, but areDesigns that show that China is looking to get an even bigger share of the US tool market.

Made in USA ???????
Now that's a Damn Shame
Whether it be "loophole" or lying...that's reprehensible
But as mentioned, W*M/SC at this point is the biggest purchaser of "Communist" goods
Being a Devout Capitalist myself I can see the allure
(Cheaper Retail Prices, Higher Standard Of Living, etc.)
But if we as a Nation can send our boys and girls half a world away to die for "American Interests", I can't see how companies like this aren't brought to court for (at least) treason

Made in USA ???????
A Friend Of Mine
Worked for Stanley Tools (in CT, USA) for years
A few years ago he resigned, and went "off the grid" with his new young wife
I remember him saying something to the effect of:
I'm director of manufacturing, but the only thing we make here now is one screw for one consumer that won't accept [off-shore] quality screws
I can't take it anymore...I can't sleep at night

A tactic that has ben used for quite a few years in manufacturing. The componenents are manufactured over seas and the product is either assembled or packaged in the USA, allowing them to make this claim. A few of the more honest manufacturers label "Assemblied in the USA with parts made in "wherever".
We have not seen anything yet. Wait until all the planned assinine EPA
regulations take over. The general population get suckered by the "clean environment" talking points, but when they can regulate the admissions and "carbon footprint" (isn't that such a cutesy phrase) of every product producer, the government has acheived total control of the economy and your life. They can dictate to manufacturers what they can manufacture by limiting the methods they must use to meet their "guidelines",thus controlling the market, and once more destroying price and quality competition. GOODBYE TO MILLIONS MORE OF MANUFACTURING JOBS.

Made in USA ???????
Yup; your ever-rising demands for better US wages to pay for your 50" TV's intersected a long time ago with your ever-increasing demands for lower pricing; now all your stuff has to come from places that pay $2 a day in wages so that Walmart and Target can build another store to service your overweight population.
Sad but true.

Made in USA ???????
A lot of the "Made in China" merchandise is made on "Made in the U.S." supplied equipment in China that allows automation. The world is changing quickly and many are being left behind. The U.S. is now 15th in education and falling and will not match India, Japan or most European countries in the foreseeable future. - Not enough time (hours per day and months) in school and too many "frilly" classes.
Many of the "Made in China" electronics are assembles with "Made in the U.S." or "Made in Mexico" parts. - It is a complicated world and getting smaller. GM just announced the annual car sales to China last year was 2,000,000 units.
China has a problem with cheap illegal labor coming into the country and is building a real wall on the North Korea border.
Does anyone remember when Japan was the low cost producer? Now they are one the highest labor cost countries in the world. The original Canons and Nikons were knock-offs of Zeiss and Leica cameras until the Japanese out-did them. If you make Toyotas in the U.S., your paycheck would be higher than a GM employee in the U.S. making Chevrolets or Buicks. I heard a GM marketing representative say that more Buicks are sold in China than in the U.S (but still behind Mercedes and BMW), so not everyone in the largest auto market in the world buys locally.

Made in USA ???????
Along these lines: I watched an interesting show on TV recently, Discovery Channel I believe, where they were showing the factory that made the beads used in Mardi Gras. This was nothing short of a legal slave camp. The Chinese manager, who spoke eloquent English, spoke of how the company was enriching the lives of the workers by paying them $2/day, providing them living quarters and food. The living quarters consisted of ten (10) bunks for twenty (20) females who had to rotate time in and out (much like submariners do). Their meals were basically a soup and bread served twice per shift and the time allotted to meals had to be made up during the shift. Some of the workers stated that they worked fourteen (14) hours/day just to get in ten (10) hours, with making up for meals and restroom breaks, and this was thirteen (13) days on with one day off. Try googling 'China' and 'ecological disaster' and see if you still feel the same way.

Did you just wake up from a 40 year nap? China is much more authoritarian than communist these days, and has been for decades. Why not take a closer look at products next time you are in Sam's Club. I would be surprised if you can find anything not made in "communist China".

Made in USA ???????
as I have been told... as long as 53% of profit is going to Americans you can qualify "made in the USA"
double check the fine print on the bottom edge of the lable of your new US flag.

"The Capitalists will sell us the rope with which we will hang them." Lenin..
Now we are trying to buy it back...at a higher price...go figure!
