lower level insulation

OK I have all my insulation installed and am ready for drywall. Any special drywall that I need to use or anything else that I need to know. Thank you for the help!

lower level insulation

Make sure there are no voids behind/between the insulation as cc pointed out, convective loops.(no dead space)

Insulate the rim area with rigid foam board then batts, air sealing the foam board first. http://www.buildingscience.com/docum...m-at-rim-joist

Use the ADA when installing the drywall to prevent any air getting to the concrete wall; http://www.buildingscience.com/docum...wall-approach/

Hold the drywall up 1/2" from the slab to prevent wicking of moisture. Use a sill sealer under the frame wall bottom plate for a thermal/capillary break, or at least caulk along the joint of slab/plate for an air seal;http://www.greenbuildingadvisor.com/...-building-code

If any ads are present in my answer above, I do not condone/support/use the product or services listed, they are there against my permission.
