Low ceiling finished basement pics

Has anyone finished a basement with less than 7 feet of ceiling height? If so would appreciate posting some pics if possible. I have been contemplating finishing mine and I were to level the floor I would have about 6'8" of celing height.

Whew that short! Sometimes that is all there is to work with though.

First step would be to contact the local building codes folks to negotiate a code variance. The International Residential Code requires a minimum 7' ceiling height, but I'd be surprised if they wouldn't grant a variance/code modification for a couple inches if there is no way to get 7' without serious expense and destructive measures.

Recessed lighting would certainly be the way to go...No ceiling fans!!!
