I just want to talk to someone that has a license in CT to give me some advise on where to get started in acquiring my journeyman's license.
The information I have found is confusing. Do I need to work an apprenticeship if I have experience in the field?

I don't want to be offending but, the post "sounds fishy".

In order to be a journeyman electrician you need to learn the proper skills hence, apprenticeship. If you skip this essential step you will fail to be a good electrician.

No other "experience" is comparable so if you had any "proper" training you would already know the answer to your question.

He said he's just getting started. Everyone has to start somewhere, and the first step is getting experience and working toward journeyman.
