leather furniture

How to clean soft natural leather furniture? I am afraid to destroy it with soap and water. I have tried once sort-of lotion for furniture cleaning, and I did not noticed any difference. Thanks!

You say you didn't notice any difference. Maybe the lotion worked. If the leather is in good shape and you are just cleaning it a gentle lotion type furniture cleaner, sounds like what you want. What type of change are looking to see? If you have some stains or some other issue these get tougher to remove and you would try any cleaners in a hidden spot before using them on the sofa. I, in the past use a shoe and boot leather cleaner (not colored polish) to remove a ink stain from a leather love seat. I tested it in a hidden spot under a pad first, making sure it did not hurt the leather or dye. Be careful some things may set a stain even the professional cleaners can't get all stains out.
