Leaky foundation at the chimney.

I'm sorry if this has been discussed before but I couldn't find it in the searches.

I have a leak in my foundation where the chimney joins it. It's cracked on both sides. The foundation is only 4ft high. I need to repair these leaks and I really don't have a lot of money. I want to do it right and I'm not afraid of hard work. I already dug it all up to expose the cracks. I just need to know how to patch the cracks so that it won't happen again. Most of the water in the pics came in on the last rain after I had it dug up.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Leaky foundation at the chimney.

Cracks can usually be sealed with urethane caulk or similar. If the cracks are large, first pack them with foam backer rod. All availabale at home, hardware stores for a few dollars.

Leaky foundation at the chimney.

Did you get this fixed? Other than some mortar joints, where was it leaking? Did you see it in the basement? What is that black drain pipe?
