Kitchen Hoods 48"

Can anyone recommend a good 48" pyramid style stainless hood. We need an internal blower and we need to spend less than $1300. I am not what minimum CFM would be needed. Also dont want the thing to sound like an airplane engine... Ideas?

Do an internet search for the product.
Look at the specifications of each fan.
Decide the one you want.
Not knowing the cfm's you need seems like it might hinder the choice.
Knowing the sone ratings would also help.
A 48" fan might be more of a commercial size, so cost will be much higher then a residential unit.
Is this an island or wall mount unit?

This will be for a stove on the exterior wall so we can put the duct work and the fan right on the outside wall. I think that we want a 48" hood to match the 48" stove.

Yes, the hood should be at least the size of the stove.
