Kitchen Counter Top

Am planning kitchen rebuild. Any comments on using granit vs engineered stone for counter top? Can the sink be installed with no seams (or open joints) as is done with Corion? Thank You

Corian - good stuff and easy to maintain.
Engineered man made stone - affordable and durable
Granite - straight out of the earth after millions of years, and put in your home. Hard to top that.

Regarding granite and/or quartz countertops, there doesn't [yet] seem to be a way to avoid exposed seams.

Corian can be burned or scratched, but can also be restored. Corian is usually less expensive than granite.
