Kitchen Backsplash problem

I want to put a tile on the wall in my kitchen, but i have an issue. As you can see in the picture (hopefully it loads) the electrical outlets are not recessed into the wall as well as the wires. Reason for this is because I live in FL and the walls are concrete. So, when the kitchen was remodeled I assume they just added these outlets. But, if i want to put tile up.. how do I get around this issue?

One idea i was told, was to move the outlets to directly under the cabinet, then they are hidden as well as still being within reach of appliances.

Somone may have a better suggestion but i would incorporate the conduit into the tiling. Paint the conduit the accent color of the tile and tile up to it and below it. Just a thought.

If that picture is an example of the electric, I would remove it, tile the wall, and as suggested, butt it up to the wall cabinets. Having the stove in front of the outlet is a bad design.
