Kid's Beds


Hi I am new and my wife has asked me to build my 7 year old daughter and Girls bed I never done this before are there any plans avail or any ideas would be great.

Kid's Beds


Do you have a place you can work on this project? Garage, big shed, basement.
What tools do you have?

Kid's Beds


From my own experience with kids' bed, I've noticed that kids love it two story. They like to climb up and down the second 'floor' of the bed. I would therefore recommend that you make it like that.

Both my daughters had loft beds and this above statement is 100% true!!

Couple other thoughts......
Check ceiling fan, light fixture clearance in rooms.
It is considerably warmer the closer to the ceiling you are!!
If you build the bed out of the room......make sure it'll fit thru the door, up the stairs, etc!! (learned this one from experience!!)
