joint compound question
Newbie here asking a question for an older relative who isn't web saavy.
Can you use joint compound instead of plaster of paris, on plaster walls? Thanks. |

Yes and no.
Its Ok for thin repairs, skim coats, etc. If its a major hole, or deep, a 'setting' type compound would be recommended.

Pro, don't you use the setting type for everything? Air dry is on the top of my aggravation list.
