Interesting countertop idea

Has anyone used polished ceramic for a countertop in a bathroom? They are beautiful, but look at first glance like scratching ( a dark colored tile) may be a factor. Anyone have experience with polished ceramics?

I'd tile the counter with a floor tile, not a wall tile. If scratching is a concern, use a porcelain tile with an epoxy grout to minimize staining.
