Im speechless. Cant find replacement part locally. Please Help!!

This is the type of threshold used on my front entrance door. At the end where it tapers off you can see the curved slots that can be used to attache an extension to make the sill longer(not shown in this pic). I NEED a new extension piece. The 2" or 3" entension option, doesnt matter. I can not find it anywhere!!! Not at Lowes, Home Depot, Menards, and I even tried Ace Hardware. Everyone stocks the threshold shown above but no one can even special order the extension. Can ANYONE help me PLEASE!!!

Even online ordering would be fine!

Ive contacted thermatru, MD, and some no name place, NO responses. I know this type of threshold is used on many new door build applications. Im not picky right now.

Funny, HD had them last year...

This place says they have door sill extensions:

(You could also try calling around to some of your local building materials suppliers)

Try looking on the hinge edge of the door for the door makers name and try them direct. If its an import and the extension is not popular, you may have a tough time. Take a look at Pemko and National Guard Products/NGP on line. Both have online catalogs that you should be able to view online to see if they stock something close. They are national mfg's of this stuff stateside. Probably cant buy direct but a local door company can order it for you.

Contact a mill work supplier that builds doors for the construction trade. I get these locally from Dyke Industries. I know they are a national millwork operation, so there may be one in your area. They do not deal retail, only open trade accounts, but they may be able to refer you to another source.
