Me too! Flooring and some re-wiring first. This is the first big project for me and my boyfriend. Hope it goes smoothly! Lol

Ideas on picture frame and old door-image-908996451.jpg Cutting into wall for rewiring. My boyfriend reminded me that when I first brought up the idea of doing some updates to the bathroom I had simply asked to paint. Hmmmm.....did I really say that????

Lol Lots of spackling! Yes I think I took a dive off the deep end. Started out with small intentions. Lol I think it will look very nice when done though. Maybe not perfect but ours. Thanks Two Knots. I'll keep the pics coming. I love projects also. I may not be the best at a lot of things but I give it a shot anyway.

That's the way you learn to do things, by giving it a shot...
Jumping in head first is my speciality...

I'm at my happiest when we're doing a project.

Forgot to ask ...Did you install the door headboard?

So true! I haven't done the headboard yet. Giving my boyfriend some adjustment time Don't want to overload him just yet. Lol will definitely post pics on that project also.

Well disappointed but not surprised. Krylon didn't work well enough to actually use as a mirror. Guess it's off to the Glass Shop to buy a mirror for my widow frame. Slight bump in the road.

Sorry to hear it didn't work out.

Was the Krylon specifically marketed as mirror paint? If so, maybe you could get your money back.

Thanks for keeping us up to date on your progress.

Yes it states on can that it is a mirror paint and will result in a mirror finish. Read some reviews that suggested putting something black on the back or paint it black. May try this also. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Decided to use the mirror after all. I am going for an antique look and it really does look antique. Not the best reflection but I think I can live with it.

Starting the tearing up phase of the bathroom. Removed the old vanity and updated some of the plumbing. Excited to see how it all comes together.
