How to repair Storm Door

I purchased a Emco Storm Door from Home Depot few years ago. Unfortunately, the wind blew it open so hard that it ripped the screws out of the door. After that, the door would not close properly.

I removed the door to see the damage and noticed that the screws split the chipwood. How can I repair the wood so that I'm able to screw the door back onto the hinges?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I think I'd try filling the crack with waterproof wood glue. Then sandwich the door between two 2x4s. Maybe use some wax paper so you don't glue the 2x4s to the door. Then clamp the 2x4s with as many clamps as you can find. At least 6. Use longer screws to reattach the hinge, pre-drilled. It might work. If it doesn't, you're only out the cost of the glue. You needed the clamps anyway.
