how to cover up lines on painted wood paneling.

Hi.
Can you guys give me suggestions on how to fill the lines in painted wood paneling. Will spackle or mud work for this? Thanks

Ayuh,.... Not what ya wanta hear, but the Best way is to rip it down, 'n put up drywall....

Or at least go over it with 1/4 drywall.
It would be less work and less sanding then filling in all those groves.

Iíve done it to non-painted ÖHot mud, sand it, shellac primer and paint. Looks like drywall. :)

Skim coat at least twice, sand, prime, paint.
