how to build this horizontal plank fence

I need to replicate a fence similar to this one to match the property
can someone help me understand how it is built?

Especially the horizontal planks, it appears the planks are symmetrical on both sides (there is a plank on each side butting at a inverted V angle) Looking closely these planks are nailed at an angle into the posts. but I wanted to know if the planks are mitered or what other prep was done make them slanted.

Could you do a better/closer pic? Do you mean that the planks are overlapping like clap board siding?

It does look like a siding, but it is the same look on both sides.

Scroll up to the top on this page.. click on the woodworking tab.. it will take you to another forum that's operated by the same folks as this one.. You'll need to register & do a quick intro then hit the general woodworking section with your question.
Tons of very knowledgeable folk there that will help ya right out.
You might want to get some close up shots of the joinery.. It could be mortice & tennon or it might be set in a dado. Hard to tell from the distance of your photo.
Dados are usually square channels not a "V" groove.. Swing over to woodworkingtalk & ask a bit..
Good Luck.
