Home windows; upper window sliding down

We have Semco widows in our house and when opening some of the windows, the top window will fall down. Does anyone know if there a piece of hardware needed to stop this or what to do to stop the upper window from sliding down?

thanks

After doing a search on these windows I have found many mixed reviews on them. However I couldn't find anything to fix your problem or why it is happening. Did you have these windows put in or were they there when you moved in? I would suggest contacting the company and seeing what they suggest. At worst they wouldn't give you any help and you might look into replacing them. Another way of going about it also is installing some type of locking device to the top of the window to prevent this, but I would check with Semco first. Let us know how this goes for you and how you get it solved. Thanks
