Home Design Software
I'm thinking of buying Punch Home & Landscape Design but I wanted to see if anyone here has any real experience with the product before I do...

Without spending $500 on a full "Archetectural Suite" does anyone here use Punch Home & Landscape Design and think it's a good investment?

What do you like / not like?

Look at Better Homes and Gardens Home Designer suite 7 or 8. Made by Chief Architect, but much less expensive.

Try Google Sketchup for free. It's just as good as any of the $50 or $60 programs I've used.

Yup... I would recommend Sketchup as well.. I designed the addition for my house to scale with that...

Have you tried MyVirtualHome? It is really good for interiors and is being updated all the time. I have found it to be the easiest to use by far.
The graphics are incredible and it is really simple to use..

I tried it about a year or so ago. It kept locking up my machine. (Vista). Haven't tried it or checked for updates since.
