A. 6 AWG
B. 8 AWG
C. 10 AWG
D. 12 AWG

Go back and add your location to your profile and let the guys know how many amps the motor draws and how long the run will need to be.
Better yet post a picture of the name plate.

5 hp will draw about 18-20 A, if I did my mental arithmetic correctly. For a normal diy shop, that would lead me to believe #10 would suffice. I hope someone w/ more experience provides the details, though.
