Hello All, little help with basement mold problem? :)

Where in buffalo are you? In some areas up there the water table is only a couple feet below grade. My brother-in-law lives in Amherst and his sup pump runs daily about 4 time/hr even in the middle of the summer. When we are in his inground pool you can feel the water under the liner sometimes. You may need to look into having the walls waterproofed from the outside

Hey Danpik, nice to see someone also from WNY! I'm in Depew, as much as I'd love to have the basement waterproofed by a professional I think its way out of my price range. I'm just going to try and fix the grading of the lawn around the house, see if theres any type of drain I can install myself, and fix all the downspouts which disperse right near the house currently. Hopefully those changes will solve the problem! As far as your brother's sump pump running constantly, mines been doing that througout winter, I'd say 4-5 times an hour on some days. Didn't notice it running a lot in the summer or fall though.
