Hardwood Floor Nail

econdave Member   Join Date: Apr 2006 Posts: 235	Hardwood Floor Nail I have few nails that keep coming up out of the floor board. I have hammered them back down but they keep coming up. Please help before my son or someone rips their foot open on it. Thanks

Big Dave Master Craftsman     Join Date: May 2006 Location: Southwest Mo. Posts: 289	Hardwood Floor Nail I would carefully pull the nail and replace it with a trim head screw. The head of the screw is just slightly larger than a finish nail and can be color puttied to match color of floor. Dave.
