Yes, Happy Father's Day.

This last week, maybe five days ago, my father was diagnosed with small cell cancer, stage 3, lungs and brain. 3 months to a year to live. This will be his last Father's Day. I'll make it a good one.

Sorry to hear that Doc.

Doc,

Very sorry to hear this.

You already know this but spend as much time with him as you can. I will be praying for you and your family.

Never quit hoping and praying my friend..I've seen miracles happen..

Believe !!

More than just see a miracle now and then, I'm privileged to be totally involved with them on a regular basis. But you do have to remember that the man we think of when we speak of miracles, never went looking for someone to give them to..... they came to Him, and asked.

Kind of the way it works.......

+1 on what Willie T said.

I'm so sorry that your dad is suffering doc. Best wishes to him and your family.

Doc Holliday 06-17-2013 12:24 AM

My apologies. Wasn't my intent to make this thread about me and my family. What my message would be in all of this is regardless, love what you have while you have the chance. In a blink of an eye it could be too late. And funny how unimportant the issues one thinks they have is forgotten, is obsolete, means nothing.

I gave him my 47" flat screen for his room.

Why shouldn't it be focused on you and yours? You and your father are important, and Father's Day is only a day on the calander.
