For wood to glass I have used "Amazing Goop" and found creates a stronger bond than anything else I have tried. It does have a long cure time but you can speed the process with a little heat.

I believe it is made or sold by Eclectic Products and they do have a web site, http://www.eclecticproducts.com/ag_adhesives.htm but I get it at a local hardware store. It should not be hard to find.

I've had success with silicone caulk and liquid nails.

i used gorilla glue on a large mirror to solid oak frame and man, that glass ain't goin' NO-where!
i weighted the mirror down pretty good as it set though, as that stuff swells like nobody's business and could have easily lifted the glass away from the front. it swelled and filled the edges in perfectly though, and i would use it for that again any day.

Turkey call makers frequently glue glass to wood, and I can guarantee you that none of us will use anything besides plumbers Goop. The stuff just holds no matter what.

Kctermite,

It's good to know I am not the only Goop fan out there. Do you know what the difference between the "plumbing" Amazing Goop and all the other Amazing goop products? I have bought several and they all seem to be about the same except for the color of the tube.
